Week 4 of Pre-Production

Hello E!

Its the end of week 4 and everyones been stuck into pre-viz/concept art or techinical design. After feedback from our guest at Sidhe we have changed a few things and dropped many more to better scope the project. The main one being the cover system which would of had to be fully dynamic to work in our enviroment, a programmer nightmare!

The artist pre-viz is really helping everyone really get into the world of our concept and motivating us programmers to make sure our design is perfect so everything we can see now will be shiny and real-time!

This week I re-searched how to achieve bloom via shaders (fairly easy), the gamebryo particle system and the Raknet networking client/server model. Ive also put my ideas forward to the artists for character and UI designs and am now quite interested in handling the UI programming.
