Final Week of Pre-production and AI Planning Intricacies

Well it’s the end of pre-production and it looks like the game has finally taken shape. The GDD has had received some much needed attention; the scope is now manageable, and the design is much tighter. The majority of last week I spent working on the planning system for the AI in our game, mainly laying down what goals and actions are available to AI agent, and to which type of AI each is available to. Evaluation of an AIs perception of the world state was also looked into, and things quickly become epic.
Now, onto production.
